Guillermo Rojas A. is a Latin American musician who, with his own style and ventures derived from various disciplines, has managed to become a versatile performer standing out for his artistic career in jazz, latin and concert music, including chamber music, symphony orchestras and as a soloist.

Inspired by references from contemporary music, Guillermo adapts to different areas from a community approach that generates ruptures before classical canons and established aesthetic paradigms.

He graduated with merits from the Universidad Central (Colombia) and under the mentorship of Troy Breaux, he completed a Master's degree at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette (USA), where he was named finalist for the Outstanding Master’s Graduate award.

He has both conducted and participated in projects of an independent nature, also projects within both the institutional and public sectors. His professional experience in music has also been associated with the academy as an educator and teacher.

Guillermo is a certified instrumentalist who plays with avidity, teaches with integrity, and has the leadership to develop various projects, making music an indispensable tool for social transformation.
